Workshop 1: Introduction

In this session, we cover the following topics:

• Introduction to DigitalThemePark & Workshop
• Product installation (Eagle Dynamics or Steam delivery systems)
• TeamSpeak 3 and Simple Radio System (SRS) setup, configuration and optimal settings
• Discussion on where to find workshop information and the “Training & Qualification Log”
• Navigating the DCS UI interface
• VR & monitor setups and audio recommended settings
• Configuring and tuning controllers
• Principles of helicopter flight
• Engine management
• Preflight and start-up, shutdown procedures
• Discuss next sessions homework

Requirements:
– DCS World Open Beta v2.5
– DCS UH-1H (purchased add-on)
– DCS Nevada Map (purchased add-on)
– TeamSpeak 3 & SRS

Note: We will help you download, install and setup these applications if you do not already have the products installed.

Workshop Prerequisites:
